Робкому первокурснику Сасахара Кандзи предстоит совершить нелёгкий шаг в своей студенческой жизни - вступить в клуб. Чего уж проще? Это как посмотреть, ведь герой оказывается слишком стеснительным и неуверенным в себе, поэтому в желанные аниме или манга клубы он не попадает. Зато остаётся ещё один вариант с многообещающим названием "Гэнсикен". Попытка не пытка - решает молодой человек и идёт на встречу. Но простые с виду анимешники устраивают ему проверку, в результате которой застают его, держащим в руках то, от чего любой воспитанный человек непременно бы смутился и стал цвета спелого помидора. Дни в этом клубе обещают быть весёлыми...
